plasmid copy number estimation in E.coli

Hi.
I'd like to know the protocol of plasmid copy number estimation.
The method is according to Womble et al, J. Bacter. (1977) 130, p
48-153. But the method is so old one and it takes too long time for me
to get the paper.
Does any one who knows the method derived from Womble et al, or any
other one to estimate plasmid copy number? ]
