pETor pGEX expression => opinions requested.

I have an approximately 55 kD Arabidopsis protein I want to express in
E. coli.  My choices seem to be the pGEX GST fusion system or the pET
His tag system.  I want to use this protein for crystallization. 

If you have experience with these two sytems I would love to hear your
opinions on the suitability of each.  Also of interest would be ease
of purification and purity of final protein obtained.
