I am looking for protocols on determination of plasmid copy number in Salmonella/Vibrio. Also, has anyone had any success with developing a protocol for colony blot hybridization with non-radioctive probes? We have been using the ECL Kit (Amersham) with very limited success in vibrio and Salmonella.
