Min éral Oil - PCR

I'd some problems with PCR Amplification since a week : I had no PCR
products after electrophoresis. After many trying, I have seen that
these problems come from the mineral oil : I leave this oil since one 
month under a laminar hood, with UV exposition every night. Do that could 
be an answer to my problems. Is there a degradation of some compound in 
the oil. Someone have seen this kind of problems?
