plasma membrane prep

I've been trying to find a simple way to prepare semi-pure plasma 
membranes from CHO cells.  These suckers are somewhat tough.  I find 
that a simple 1mM Tris solution with protease inhibitors coupled with a 
tight dounce works rather well.  30-40 strokes, 700G spin to pellet the 
nuclei, the a 11,000G spin to pellet the membranes.
Does any see anyposible problems with this protocol?  Got any better 
ones?
