Microsatellite stutter bands

Hi there,
We do an large amount of microsatellite PCR in my lab. The
presence of stutter bands doesnt usually hinder accurate genotyping of
samples. We dont make efforts to get rid of them. Par for the course I
think unless you want to try a fancy proof reading enzyme instead of Taq
although we have tried this with fluorescent DNA pooling and it doesnt
seem to make much difference
cheers
Nick
