anti-DIG FAb-HRP and nitrocellulose?

Hi,
I have been using BMB's Genius system for Southern blotting, although
I switched to using the HRP (or POD) conjugated antibody. Now I am
screening a phage cDNA library, and the manual says not to use
nitrocellulose with their normal chemiluminescent detection kit (which
would use the Alkaline Phosphotase conjugated antibody). I was wondering
if anyone knew whether the membrane restriction would be specific to the
AP antibody or if the HRP antibody would similarily be affected.
Thanks
Mike
