I am currently trying to quantify 8-hydroxyguanine in human tissue, using HPLC-ECD. My method for DNA extraction and hydrolysis seems to give me very "dirty" samples. I am wondering if anyone else is studying this and running into the same problems. Any advice or comments would be greatly appreciated.
