Dear all,
I am attempting to disrupt a B. subtilis gene with an insertion
carrying a cat gene that has worked quite well in E. coli. My first round of
transformation yielded no Cm resistant recombinants. My question is: will a
cat gene that works in gram negatives necessarily work in Bacillus?
TIA for any help you folks can render in this!
