: Ambion's RNaseZap cleans plasticware (and pippettes) pretty well.

We do the following to kill M13:

Soak 10' in 1%SDS, 0.2M NaOH
Rinse 3x with water
Rinse 1x in EtOH
Rinse 3x with water.
