Antibody DNA

It is difficult, if not impossible, to clone a DNA that encodes a
particular antibody (usually fragments of antibody) from genomic DNA. But
it is possible to obtain such a cDNA from a properly immunised animal
with the hapten that you are interested in. You can go though the papers
on "phage display" and get some ideas about this issue. (I don't know if
there are commercially available clones for some particular haptens, or
such phage display services provided by companies).
