sequence analysis software

Gene Runner is pretty good.  It designs PCR and sequencing primers, 
calculates RNA secondary structure, searches for restriction sites and 
various other DNA motifs, and also does protein sequence analysis.  It 
also allows easy transfer to/from Microsoft Word.  It's by Hastings 
Software, (800) 834-8574.  No affiliation, etc.
