Hi, everyone:
I am planning to IP a nuclear protein. However, general IP protocol
suggest to lyse the cell, follow by a low speed spin and use the
supernatant for IP.
My question is:
1) After the lysis and the low speed-spin, is the supernatant contains
any nuclear protein? (The pellet generated by low-speed spin should be
mostly nucleus, right?)
2) Is there a way to retrieve as much nuclear protein as possible
through the lysis step?
Thanks in advance.
