How to isolate coat protein

Hi,

Does anyone know how to isolate intact coat protein (gene VIII) from fd
phage or M13 phage?  I do not mind the contamination of other proteins
of phage.  Otherewise, does anyone know how to get monomer of gene VIII
coat proteins?
