Conjugation of a synthetic peptide to monoclonal antibody

I would like to deliver a monoclonal antibody to the nucleus of 
mammalian cells by cojugating a synthetic peptide of 8 to 10 amino 
acids, containing the nuclear targeting signal. What is the best method 
to conjugate a peptide to antibody molecules without compromising with
the function of the antibody ?
I would appreciate your suggestions.
