Come on everyone, Peter is not the only one interested by this, so what
about some answers to this one.

I have posted similar questions in the past. What makes a fragment
unstable in Coli? Isn't there anyone out there who is a specialist of
these things?

Why do plasmids miraculously increase or decrease in size or lose their
insert after an amplification step in a Rec A minus host?

I have been plagued with this sort of problem for sometime and would be
interested by any theories.
