problems digesting maxi-prep DNA???

has anyone ever had problems digesting plasmid DNA form a maxi-prep, when the
mini-prep DNA cut fine??  I'm using the Guanidine Thicyanate method to
extract the DNA, in both cases.  The only difference I can see is the scale,
obviously, and the way I wash the diatomaceous earth of Guanidine (mini-prep
= centrifugation, maxi-prep = vacuum).
