getting rid of fat, ELISA, fish, steroids

Who knows how to get rid off fishes fat for a steroid preperation for
ELISA? A friend of mine is having problems, because the fishes she is
using have body fat in which the steroids do bind.

Does anybody have any experience with using lipase? Or what might help?
