BM multitag marker/his 6 AB

Hi,
I bought the multitag marker and the his 6 antibody, both from
Boehringer-Mannheim, but I never got it to work in western blots (with
AP and colorimetric detection). I do get a signal in dotblots.
Is  anybody using these two reagents?
I am interested in hearing whether and how they worked.
