osmotic stress?

Hi everybody,

Could you help me?
I am working on cyanobacteria. I would like to have a list of chemicals
which are used as osmotica other than sorbitol and sucrose, and whether
they have some specific inhibitory effects on cells not only by causing
osmotic stress.
