Solvolysis of Keratin

Hello Netters,

I would like to desolve/ lyse keratin. I have just read in the Merck Inde=
x
that keratin can be solvolysed by mixtures of substances which break the
-S-S- bonds and the hydrogen bonds. The only problem is, they fail to tel=
l
you what they are. If you have any suggestion please let me know.
