SeAP as a reporter gene

Hi!

Has anyone used the human placental secreted alkaline phosphatase (SeAP)
reporter gene system? How did it work in your hands?

I am interested to know if the enzyme activity can be assayed over a very
wide range of expression levels: from residual transcription up to
expression from multiple copies of the SeAP gene.
