Awarding the "best kit" title would require an impractical for any single
user/lab amount of redundant experimentation; however, from personal
experience I can recommend Stratagene's Quickchange and Promega's
pALTER/pSELECT kits. Both are reliable and easy to use with reproducibly
high yields.
