Detergents and western blotting (was: co-immuno-precipitation)

Ian, 

Do you think that the detergents ranking list you gave also could be 
applicable to western blotting, i.e. that TX100 or NP40 could be 
replaced by digitonin or CHAPS (without looking at the costs)?
