To Jonathan Warawa: Frequently extra bands of approximate size you mention
are keratins which come from hands on the gel plates. Acid wash your gel
plates, clean out all the running and blotting setups, use gloves start to
finish, cover all after they have been cleaned and never let anyone touch
your gel stuff with bare hands.
