PCRing on Bacterial Genomic DNA [summary]

Hi. 
Just another ID:

I recently started disperging a picked colony in 20 to 50ul of LB 
-Glycerol (1:1 v/v) and using .5 to 1 ulo of that for PCRing for the 
insert. If the clone was positive, I could use some of this stock 
(stored at -20) for growing up the bucks.
