size of ribosomal RNAs ?

Here's some info that should help:

Human:     18s = 1868 bp     28s = 5025 bp
Rat:       18s = 1874 bp     28s = 4718 bp
Drosophila  18s = 1976 bp    28s = 3898 bp

I came across this info a while ago on the Ambion web page (no
affiliations ...).
