Does anyone know of an alternative to VisiGel for high resolution electrophoresis of small DNA fragments in the 100 to 500 bp range (besides polyacrylamide)? Stratagene seems to be having some qc and production problems. We have been waiting a month and it looks like its going to be at least another month before they can ship.
