Extra Band

Hi all.

I'm not quite sure if this is the correct forum for my query, but I was
wondering if anyone out there has done PFGE before.  If you have, could you
please suggest a reason (other than a plasmid) for an extra band occurring
on my gel in one isolate (epidemiologically related to the outbreak) which
is the same as the outbreak strain in all other bands.

If not then do you know of anyone I can ask, or any groups I can put this
question to?  Thanks very much,
