kanamycin/timentin stability

Hello all,

Does anyone know how stable kanamycin and timentin are under plant tissue
culture conditions? I'm using them as selection agents in MS
(Murashige/Skoog) medium subjected to 24 hour light (approx. 150
microeinsteins) at room temperature. How long can these antibiotics be
effective under such conditions (e.g. 2 weeks?). Thank you for any
