PMA in normal tissue culture media?

Hi all, 

Just got a flyer on my desk advertising "PMA free medium for 
melanocyte culture". (PMA is phorbol myristate acetae, AKA tumor 
promoting agent, a potent protein kinas C stimulator).
 Does this mean that PMA is added to melanocyte culture media (only) 
for some reasons or is there a chance that TC media may contain PMA??

Any ideas?
