Hi all:

We try to isolate mosquito larvae porterior mid gut for a toxicity
assay. Are there any simple/rapid method that cause the least tauma on
the tissue?

We prepare it by pulling the head and tail of the larvae, than we got
the whole gut with the head.
We want the lumen side of the gut to expose to the test solution. But we
did not know how to make a longitudinal cut of the gut that cause the
least tauma to the tissue.

Any comments/suggestion will be greatly appreciate.

Jongrak
