Horrendous background problem on chemiluminescent westerns

As crazy as it sounds, I've been using the ECL+ kits and have
noticed--real science coming up here--that rabbit polyclonals give me a WAY higher
background than mouse.  I've yet to find out why.  Also of note, with these
rabbit polyclonals, the blots appear inverted.  Weird....
