The polymerase, but an equimolar amount is titrated out by the dNTPs
i.e. 0.2mM each dNTP takes out 0.8mM MgCl2 leaving 0.7mM for the enzyme.
The problem with being on the cutting edge is that you occasionally get
sliced from time to time....
