Surfacelabelling + Oxidation

I have to questions

Is there any good way to surfacelabel a microorganism as a way of
identifying novel surfaceexposed protein ?

What about an oxidacing reagent, that can efficiently oxidice
cysteinebridging in surfaceexposed proteins ?
