by a fluorimetric assay. A protocol can be found, eg. in the "Living Colors"
User manual from clontech (no affil.). You can download it from their web site
www.clontech.com, protocol number PT2040-1. I haven´t tried it myself yet.

What could be the reason to quantitate something? To know how much there is, I
guess....
