hi..plasmid curing

HI friends
    I need some urgent help on this.  Can anyone suggest a good plasmid
curing technique.  I would like to know particularly about the technique
that uses ethidium bromide and heat shock.  I would be grateful if somebody
can enlighten me on this.
    Secondly, do anyone know of any website which has a collection of all
known protocols and methods used in Molecular biology, microbiology etc,.
