Death of Primary Dopaminergic neuron culture.

I am cuturing primary dopaminergic neuron from substantia nigra of E14 rat.
The neuron grow and adhere well on the glass coverslip covered with 50ug/ml
poly-l-lysine 18 hours after plating. But when I chang the medium(with the
same medium) after that, many neuron(50%) die. I have already encount such
problem several times. Is there anyone can help me?
