dip a strip of nitrocellulose in your antibody, let bind for
an hour at rt or o/n at 4 C, block excess binding sites on
strip with milk, BSA, or whatever you like (for an hour),
wash with PBS or TBS (no tween!) 4 x 20 min., then use the
antibody-coated strip to fish out your antigen (an hour at
rt or o/n at 4 C)

check for (absence of) antigen in your sample on a
(spot)blot.
if still too much antigen present, repeat the procedure
