Storage of dry DNA? Any experience?

[Lehmann, Dirk]  I completely agree with storing really dried DNA for a
long time at room temperature. We usually have done this in field
projects with tissue (e.g. mucle, liver - prior later DNA isolation) and
total DNA of many different species for the use of RAPD-PCR and it
worked up to 3 months at approx. 30°C.

but as Hiranya wrote redissolving is the problem... be patient!
