Hello everybody,
I am trying to convince myself about the mechanism of DNA cleavage by
methidium propyl-EDTA: I know that it will introduce nicks in double
stranded DNA, and occasionally double strand cleavage at high
concentrations, but what kind of end does it generate: 5' phosphate or 5'
OH (like micrococcal nuclease)
Thanks a lot
