Re-equilibrating phenol

Hi,

I have some Phenol that I bought pre-equilibrated in Tris and EDTA at a
pH of 6.6. But I need the phenol equlibrated at pH 5.3 in 50 mM sodium
acetate and 10 mM EDTA. Is there any problems in just re-equlibrating
the phenol in the other buffer. I want to make sure that I don't have
anything precipitating out.
