Maxam-Gilbert Who?!

I have used a footprinting kit from  Amersham with reagents for G+A marker
included. you can find the protocol here:

This kit is really great not only for footprinting but also for G+A marker.
the procedure for preparing the marker is much simpler than the original
Maxam-Gilbert method. It will produce very nice DNA ladder.  If any
