an individual within the following conditions:
a Biochemical Engineer to work in a lab in which they will be 
responsible for developing purification processes recombinant 
proteins expressed by bacterial and mammalian cells. These 
proteins will be used by other groups to assess their biological 
activity and potential clinical use. For those proteins chosen 
for clinical development, the candidate will be responsible for 
optimization of a scaleable purification process for use in 
producing clinical-grade protein for human therapeutic use. 
Separation techniques include ultrafiltration and column 
chromatography including ion exchange, size exclusion and 
affinity-based methods. The candidate will possess a Ph.D. in 
Bio-Chemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry 
or a related field with interest in process development and 
scale-up of biochemical separations. Our client is a leading 
biotech firm with research facilities in Westchester, New York
