Protease inhibitors for yeast

Frank,
If by yeast you mean Saccharomyces cerevisiae, it also helps to use a
pep4 or even better a pep4 prb1 mutant strain. My favorite such
strain is BJ3501 from E. Jones lab which you can obtain from ATCC
(208280). I'd still throw in the protease inhibitors too.
