I am new to this newsgroup and pretty new to molecular biology. I was
wondering if anyone has made southern membranes from cosmid colonies, and
if it can be used with a probe also made from cosmids. This should work
in theory, but I have been getting very low and nonspecific signals. Are
there any tricks to this? Thanks!
