That will eventually solarize the UV filter, so you'll need to replace
it and the filters aren't cheap.  I guess it depends on how many
cuvettes
you need to do.

I used to wash them alternately with distilled water and ethanol, then
autoclave them submerged in distilled water.  That seemed to work well
for me.
