RT activity of hot start Taq

I isolate RNA from bloodsamples with Ambions RNAquoues 4PCR kit, and removes
the DNA with DNAse treatment. When I PCR tjeck my minus RT control I usually
get a band, indicating DNA contamination. I also tried using an introns
primer and here I do not get a band. Indicating contaminated reagents or RT
activity of my Taq polymerase. My question is, has anyone observed or heard
of RT effect of Taq polymerases?????
