A freind has asked if he could fix an agarose gel containing DNA. It will be used for laser scaning directly from the gel. It cannot be ethidium bromide stained, but he wants to prevent diffusion of DNA bands. So how can he fix the DNA in the agarose gel?? Please email answers to qshafat at bu.edu. Thank you
