Biomek 2000 HDR 'pin' tool

Hi everyone

Has anyone out there used/currently use the HDR tool ('pin' tool) - 
either 96- or 384-pin on a Beckman Biomek 2000 robot for producing 
dot blots for radioactive (or chemiluminescence) detection? 

I'm wondering whether it's suitable for PCR-SSOP and concerned about 
the amount of liquid transferred .... (I know they are used 
successfully for colony transferring).
